FAQ

Why do we need a Green Spaces Forum

Green and open spaces groups with in Sheffield face an ever increasing number of challenges both technical and financial by coming together as equals we can share ideas, knowledge, costs and have a powerful voice for the good of the communities they serve.
Uniting these organisations under a green spaces forum umbrella organization will allow a much clearer line of communication throughout the sector in Sheffield, also empowering groups to support each other and to create new partnerships.
  • Examples of how a green spaces forum could benefit both groups and the people of Sheffield include:
  • Reducing service costs
  • Increasing lobbying power
