Sheffield Green Space Celebrates the Craic on St Patrick’s Day

One of the best places to enjoy the craic over St Patrick’s weekend 2019  was at Sheffield’ award winning Pitsmoor Adventure Playground in the Barbara Mortis Art Space.  On offer was some amazing live Music and activities included dance, traditional games, food, arts and crafts. 
Live Irish music was performed by world renowned folk superstars Nancy Kerr, James Fagan playing alongside their super talented children Hamish and Harry in their first ever family live gig. 

Patrick Meleady Pitsmoor Adventure Playground Manager  and committee member of Sheffield Green  Spaces Forum said ” We were  overwhelmed and delighted when James , Nancy, Hamish and Harry offered to play live music for us this afternoon, this St Patrick’s day at Pitsmoor adventure playground was certainly the best place to be for live music in the UK, the family were just wonderful.” 

Viktoria aged 12 said ” I liked the music and the people, they were kind letting my friends join in on the drum and the stew was spicy, my first ever taste of Hendersons relish.”
