On Thursday at 11.00 am Nov 8th. Gleadless Valley children planted a Memorial Lime Tree.
One of 12 to mark 100 years since the First World War. These Lime trees will line the approach at the entry to Herdings Park to be known as Memorial Tree Avenue.
Council Leader Julie Dore offered a short commemoration service with Councillor Cate McDonald for Gleadless Valley and Parks recreation staff in attendance.
