One of the UK’s best playgrounds has just secured a new piece of play equipment. The new Dragon Zip–wire is the latest installation at Sheffield’s award winning Pitsmoor Adventure Playground and BBC Radio Sheffield’s Paulette Edwards was on hand to do the honours as she cut the ribbon and joined in an afternoon of play and fun. The children that use the facility requested a zip-wire after ongoing consultation identified that they wanted additional play challenges and Steve Pool a local resident and community artist led on the work supported by Patrick Amber and local families.
